- Iron Man (Suit-Up) Version B is ready for Pre-Order now! -

-- Part 3 of 3 --

"Please take note that the images displayed here are product renders. These will be replaced with official product photos in due time once approved.

XM Studios is excited to present our next 1/4 scale MARVEL Premium Collectibles series statue, Iron Man (Suit Up)! Tony Stark activates his suit-up protocol as he gets ready for his next mission! This design showcases Tony Stark’s process of suiting up prior to utilizing nanotechnology. The platform features an assembly of robotic mechanical arms, each equipped with various components of the Iron Man suit. To achieve XM’s renowned quality in statue design and production, each painstakingly hand-crafted statue is meticulously hand-painted and rigorously checked for their quality.

As Tony Stark stands in the middle of the platform, each robotic arm is shown attaching a component to him, completing the suit assembly. The platform is a 3-sided armor storage display, exhibiting how the different parts of the Stealth suit and Silver Centurion suit components are kept.

Comes in Version A and Version B
Version A features a completely suited-up Iron Man as a compact alternative for collectors. Version B includes all features: Tony Stark half suited up torso, Iron Man fully suited up torso, 3-sided storage display platform, robotic mechanical arms and an additional podium to display the torso switchout separately.

Version B - Movable and Removable parts
Comes with an additional switchout torso for collectors to display Tony Stark fully suited up in Iron Man armor. Component parts that are on the mechanical arms are removable as an alternate display option to display with the Iron Man suited up torso. The mechanical arms joints are moveable to adjust the preferred display angle.

Version B - Options to display at different heights
The platform included in Version B is removable to provide collectors with the option to at a reduced height. End caps are provided so that the statue can be displayed without the mechanical arms, further reducing the height."

Comically tall base, too MCU-looking, outrageous price. Pass for me. I like the idea though.

Wow, I really like this a lot. But I’m not paying over $2000 for it, no way..especially when I can get the 1/3 scale version for $200 less. Again looks great XM but you’re pricing yourself out of this hobby.

Yeah too close to the MCU look, Legendary beast studios did the same thing with their 'classic' piece, mixing MCU elements into a comic armor.

Version A looks good but I have the SS MKIII maquette. Don't need this.

Also looking at Tony more, he is giving me more of an Anime look than their last version. Not loving the unmasked as much as the classic one.

Interestingly, XM got the proportions right on this one. Even with the simple pose, Iron Man looks good because his proportions are spot on.

Unfortunately, XM is still obsessed with too much details. There is too much armor layers and armor plates. You would think, as time passes and his armor improves, Tony would make his armor more elegant. Yet this statue shows otherwise.
