sandlot, slapshot, mighty ducks, angels in the outfield , rookie of the year, major league, hoop dreams, and last but not least...glory road. i get goosebumps when i watch glory road. thats a great film

yeah i do. i like hoosiers and the natural , field of dreams etc. but the comedy sports stories rule to me. also miracle was excellent i forgot how much i loved that movie.
the disney movies were cheesy but they are always watch worthy to me. esp. rookie of the year---"funky butt loving" lol

True story...Mark Wahlberg plays Vince Papale, walk-on for the Philadelphia Eagles. In the 70's, new coach Dick Vermeil holds open try-outs for the city to try and find players for the loosing Eagles. Papale is the only one who makes the cut and helped rally the city who still believed in their Eagles, but was getting tired of seeing the losses.
How's that?
