i'm a freelance stagehand in NYC. so i'm constantly climbing in grids 20-35 feet above the stage, climbing ladders, power tools, serious amounts of electricity (enough to power buildings) etc.
most places would cover me, but some don't
the thing is . . . i make my own schedule and make enough money to take tons of time off to do what i want to do, which is become a photograher. having a full time job sounds like absolute hell to me.

Gotcha!! I understand. My job is not an office job and I average 60-70 hours a week, but only get paid for 40. However, I get 4 weeks off a year and only work about 15 hours a month in the summer, so I guess I shouldn't complain too much.

But seriously, mwf, take your wife, have a few shots, ready yourself for a weird time, and check it out. Take some friends, if you can. Don't admit to being a RHPS "virgin" if you don't want to participate in the ongoing silliness (or admit it, if you do).
The number one rule of Rocky Horror: see it in a theater with fans. Never rent it to watch at home.

He really did. Actually, his are the only lines I really remember from the movie.
I still use the line "Normally, one would have to go to a bowling alley to meet a woman of your stature..." whenever I can.

I guess I am young enough, 36, to never have really appreciated Arthur. I tried to watch it when I was older, but could never get "into" it.

a friend of mine took her Daughter to the RHPS for this 16th Birthday, they do it here where they have live actors on stage acting it out as the movie goes on... she rented out the theatre got her and her friends a Hummer Limo... weird idea for a sweet sixteen, but I am sure they had fun...
