second class tsarts today. just book stuff today.
saturday: navigation, naturalist and night dive classes
sunday: deep dive and wreck dive classes cant wait. already went out on my own and went to 90'. hit my first thermocline. man that was cold.

Wow, you're lucky to get everthing in one shot. Here wreck, ice, navigational,etc are all seperate classes. You say you went out on your own? I really hope that's figurative. Did you see the thermocline? If you get the chance to dive off the coast of British Columbia take it. Rated 2nd for clarity and diversity of life.

yeah i went with a buddy. i just meant without a teacher. you can easily go out off la jolla shores by yourself though. it is the number one dive spot in california for many reasons so there are so many people there even if you dont have a buddy someone is close by. there isnt anything to get caught on or stuck. its a preserve so no fishing or boating allowed
i didnt notice the shimmer when i hit the thermo. i just noticed i was cold as heck all of a sudden. i was going to go back up and look for it but then i saw a huge sheepshead and a few other item s and by the time i got done following them i was already back in the warnth and to far away to go back and look
