There is a lot more empty space in the t-rex diorama, and less fragile parts ;p

My shipping fee estimate has been adjusted through the Prime 1 website. West coast (US) economy is now $181.00.

Looking at the estimates it has gone from $1251 down to $796 for Standard Shipping to Australia.

Still nuts though.

Damn $796? Is Australia on Mars? $181 to the west coast US seems decent for 3 boxes, has anybody pre ordered this yet? I'm going to, but was waiting for sideshow to start pre ordering it, if they dont soon I think I'll use Secretcompass

You would think so from the shipping quote alone.

But actually to Sydney it’s a slightly shorter distance from both China and Japan than it is to the US west coast, let alone to the east coast.

I've pre-ordered through Prime 1 only because it will ship first through them. Ordering through another distributor will probably take an extra 1-3 months before their lot starts to ship.

From the Prime 1 email: Please note that after reviewing with Blitzway Team on the dimensions of the carton boxes, we have been able to obtain a more accurate sizing which results in a different shipping pricing. The shipping fee for this product has been adjusted.

Of course this won't ship for at least two years so the shipping price will undoubtedly go up but this price is better than the almost $500 I was first quoted.

Nameivom, thanks for the information, I'm definitely gonna order it, I just recently pre ordered my first prime 1 piece, the Red Sonja, do you really think its gonna be 2 years? Is prime 1 really bad for delays?
