Anyone find it strange that the women and children are going down to hide in the crypts from an enemy who raises the dead? Like, kind of a bad idea, no?

I have no idea why this show is so loved. I have watched every episode and find it to by vastly boring. I'm pleased 10% of the time and really love the dragons and the battle scenes which are very well done. But 33% done with the last season and nothing has happened.

I will bet episode 3 does not start with the battle. It will start with 30 min of Cersi talking or show the Iron Island battle instead.

You're not alone. I like some of the characters, but I checked out after Season 4. Apparently I didn't miss much.

but seriously i'm the exact opposite of you, i'd trade every stupid Dragon scene or big battle for Tywin sitting at a table talking politics without even a second thought.

You have it right there. You got it. But to elaborate...

The White Walkers were all created from NON Dead children. The Night King made a deal with Craster and that is why Craster gives him sons - so White Walkers can be created. Also there is some tie that Craster has strong blood lineage (Stark? Targareyon?) and that's why the Night King is extra willing to take Craster's spawn.

Whites, the fragile minions that swarm, are created from DEAD people/animals. Any White Walker can create basic b!tch whites.

You do learn lots of things from the books. Sure, it's full of crazy stuff never used, but some of it is handy

Oh Selmy. How I loved him. Do you read the books? He is so fabulous there too -- and not killed like a chump in the alley.
