You tube has videos showing how to have your cake and eat it to on ebay. You buy something, say it's broken, open a dispute, and without forcing the buyer to show evidence of the breakage they will refund the money, using the money that is in escrow.

Meh ill just stop selling on ebay, create a sell section on my web site and go from there.
maybe this will be the nail in the coffin for someone to make a new auction site that everyone goes too.
Plus all the stuff i am interested in has seller sections anyway.

Do the same rules apply for ALL Paypal transactions, or just those associated with an Ebay purchase/sale.
For instance, if I sell something on Craigslist and receive payment through Paypal, are the same escrow rules going to apply? I can't see how they would as there's no feedback to be left.

I don't think that it will affect anything other than ebay but I believe it is motivated by Pay pal not wanting to eat reimburements anymore.

Wait.. debit their checking accounts? Even if the seller maintains an amount in PayPal? What would the escrow amount be?
Man, I guess I better read my seller updates.

I honestly may just end up posting my items on various sites and make a sell section on my web page and only except Money orders or checks for items for now on.
