I just noticed today this is no longer “Dejah Thoris” and the name had been changed to “Martian Princess” on the product page and any references to Barsoom, John Carter, etc, are gone. I missed that whole thing when it went down a few months ago...I see it all now though.

I wonder why it isn't listed with the other new releases? If you don't search for it you won't see it. Especially that they changed the name.

It’s been up for preorder since July, so not as “new” as many other items.

Well they have a pretty decent track record with the Dynamite pieces (excluding the first Red Sonja with the botched face) so I'd wager this one will turn out fine.

Some people disliked how the second Red Sonja (She-devil with a sword) was painted but I owned the piece and thought it was one of the better painted pieces in my collection--even when compared to, say, the Poison Ivy Green with Envy statue which was very close to the prototype.

I mean, I wouldn't necessarily bet the farm on it, but I think this one has a decent chance of replicating the quality of the others in the Dynamite catalogue.
