Zangief Base
Hey guys
Anyone know what the fix was for improving the Gief bases that were packed while still wet at the factory?
They have a patchy finish. Like they are a bit dirty.
I feel like I read something from Jerry from years ago saying to spray the base with a varnish or something - sorry, I'm not a painter so have no idea but would really appreciate on of you guys to get back to me - Andrew, Vince, Mike, Jerry? Anyone with the knowledge
Thanks
Mark

I had 3 differnet bases, and they all were all patchy, even a replacement sent direct from Sideshow.

I am no pro, but I know that very light coats from 12 inches away is a must for any spray can job.
Same goes for the finishing coats.
good luck

The one I had was perfect, I would have freaked if I saw the patchy one when I opened it.

Buy a semi gloss black And spray in even layers. One to two coats should be good.

Very nice result!
I can't believe that was messed up so badly! How the heck did those get shipped like that?
No replacements were offered?
