Shipping. So frustrating. That and a weak Canadian Dollar really sucks. Almost half of what I pay gets lost to the exchange and shipping/taxes.

It?s very strange that shipping to vancouver Canada is only $110.67 USD. It?s almost like US postal / courier rate went up in prices.

Well you do save 5% in taxes unlike other Provinces.

Ouch. That's harsh.
Almost $300 to just over $400 in USD.

The box is on the bigger side, but isn't unduly heavy. It's most likely the dimensional weight accounting for it.

And gamed fuel/shipping costs. Container prices have dropped precipitously from the time they were first taking orders for this a year ago. Seems like we are still subsidizing part of that previous expense now.

Wtf? Why? Isnt mythos 1/5, why is this so expensive to ship, the base also isnt that big. No way it would be 2 boxes. Dont get it, is sideshow just trying to make money from shipping now. They get close to 60-80% discount on ups published rates. At 40% discount ebay offers its sellers, a large 1/4 scale box via ground will be around $60 coast to coast, so why is this $100+ with sideshows rates. It?s really sad if they are making money off shipping.

Glad they made his cloth all ripped up which I hate so don?t need to get it, otherwise it will be lot of wasted money as I love the pose. At 11k es and this price point with shipping and tax, guaranteed money loser down the road.

I'm going to be buying this piece, but I'm definitely going to wait for a deal as there will be plenty of deals to be had. Free shipping + 10-15% off should be something that arises at some point soon.
