Early reactions. Better than Homecoming. Stay for the credits.

Homecoming sucked. If it were not part of the MCU most people would be honest and trash it like it deserves.
That aint SPider-Man and if you like Spider-Man or read any comics pre 2015 you know what I mean.

I haven't loved any of the six Spider-Man movies, I don't think anyone will capture what the character was to me growing up in the 80s and 90s. Of course I haven't cared about the character in the comics now for over a decade so not really for me any more.

I’ll definitely go see it, but I’m not getting my expectations very high.

There's good elements in all the films even Homecoming but they all kind of fall short in some way. You can tell Watts had no idea of the source material and Raimi was more familiar with it but took liberties.

I didn't mine Homecoming but I agree it could have been better. The writers/studio used more of the Ultimate Spider-man Miles Morales story than Peter Parker we all know.
i'm curious to see what they do with Mysterio. He looks a good guy in the trailer.

While Homecoming wasn't great - I did applaud them for sticking to one baddie and a random baddie at that. Never thought I would see any version of Vulture on the big screen. Same with Mysterio.
I very much enjoy Tom Holland as Peter Parker. I find him enjoyable off-screen too as he seems like a genuinely nice guy.

No way does this film not join the billion dollar club and become the highest grossing Spider-Man film.
