Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I guess this show will be a bit later than the last one. People usually put up notice a month or so ahead on EB in the events section.

He really hasnt said much lately. He has gone silent (he let us know this would happen) because he is doing a lot of stuff right now since its con season etc. We dont know much more than others but do know a few tidbits.
We havent received any prints yet because he hasnt had time to ship anything and early on he was waiting to receive his copies and bundle them together. I Just hope he takes a break so we can get some stuff soon.

Off top of my head i would buy Munich, War of the Worlds, Saving Private Ryan, Jurassic Park, Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind, and Jaws. What am i missing?
edit: From Expresso
"The show will open with mostly OGs and just a couple of prints... since the show is in the gallery for so very long, in the middle I'll release some more prints and close with 1-2 more... at least, that is the plan for now.
Last year, I broke up the show a bit by having some prints come out at SDCC... I'm trying to be a bit more sensitive to people's wallets with the show jammed in between the two big poster cons of the year".

Cool. I can't wait to see what Mark Englert has for this show. Will he make Goonies even though Spielberg didn't direct that one? I hope he tries. He has to make Raiders and maybe Indy 3. I'm hoping for something similar to those tomb ideas I posted. But for some reason I'm thinking if he makes Raiders he might go with the scene with Indy at sunset while all those people are digging.

Yeah, Spielberg is the reason I went to film school and Englert is my fav print artist. It's a win-win. I don't think he would do Goonies, because SS produced it. If you start with movies he produced too, that's half of the films made the last 20 years. The guy has his hands in everything.
Not sure why not just put the show off until everything is ready. Is this a quick grab for cash? I was nervous about the show being rushed, saying is has to be done by end of August seems like it'd be more of a problem to produce. Glad I don't have to mess with the OG thing for the sub, might get messy.

I was hoping Mark Englert would make an exception for Goonies because it's Goonies. Maybe he'll do one in the future.
More than anything though I want to see if he does those tombs. Horizontal version of the opening tomb from Raiders. The whole thing starting with the slope that the rock goes down to the last part. And the Indy 3 final tomb. The whole area. But I know it's a tough ask.
There is a Nightmare on Elm Street show coming up next week too. Hoping to see something good as nothing from Mondo got me yet.
