R.I.P George A. Romero

Loved his films, Creepshow being one of my all time favorite movies.

His excellent Living Dead trilogy is even more prevalent today as a social commentary with everyone now walking around looking at their smartphones like Zombies.

Grew up watching his films, his Dawn of the Dead is still one of my favorites. RIP.

Before Romero, all zombies in film were Voodoo inspired or related. He truly did create the genre we know & are so used to today. I met him once at a MD horror-con & the guy was just super nice & thankful for his fans. I love zombies & it's all because of Romero. RIP.
