Infinity Gauntlet Box Set Slipcase

In case you guys didn't hear.
This will be mine.

To my understanding it will be similar in design to the previous Secret Wars and Civil War boxsets.

approx. $400USD for close to 5000 pages!

The Mad Titan Thanos has gathered the Infinity Gems - and he plans to transform our universe into a nightmarish tribute to his true love, Death! Adam Warlock and the Silver Surfer unite Earth's heroes and the universe's cosmic powers to stand against Thanos and his Infinity Gauntlet...but when the dust settles, Adam Warlock's good and evil sides - the Goddess and the Magus - may prove to be even bigger threats! Witness the birth of the Infinity Watch, as the universe must deal with infi- nite war and a cosmic crusade! But through all the chaos, what is Thanos' secret agenda? Jim Starlin's cosmic masterpiece, the 1990s' "Infinity Trilogy," is collected in full in this titanic box set, including every chapter, crossover and tie-in - plus an entire volume of bonus stories and behind-the scenes extras! It doesn't get more Infinite than this!

SLIPCASE INCLUDES:

INFINITY GAUNTLET PROLOGUE PREMIERE HC 440 PGS.

INFINITY GAUNTLET PREMIERE HC (NEW PRINTING) 256 PGS.

INFINITY GAUNTLET CROSSOVERS PREMIERE HC 504 PGS.

Only 5000 pages? That's probably my comic reading quota for a decade. Awesome collection but at that size, I suspect this would likely be a dust collector on my bookshelf.

What could possibly be in the companion unless it's the death of Adam Warlock from Avengers annual 7 and Marvel Two in One annual 2

If I had the discretionary $ to drop, I'd scoop this. But ... Risingstar has a point, after one read, this would become a dust collector. Still, way cheaper than a statue nowadays.

I'd argue that for the amount of time it would take to read the box set cover to cover, it's not a bad price for the sheer cost of entertainment. I mean, if I pay $25 for a Blu-ray that is 2 hours of entertainment. Even if I watch it 4 times, that is 8 hours.

This would literally take me months and months to complete. I think that is "worth" the value to me.

Nice...agreed, good value for the size. Doubt you'll ever need another Infinity Gauntlet collection. Thanks for the heads up.

Good selling point I agree but all the other comics and manga that i follow (which are countless ) i can't really pay 650 on the box set right now.
