Alex Ross Iron man 2020 bust

I have a chance to get one and ive always like the look of it but i have heard reports of flaking issues with the chrome.

What are peoples thoughts on this bust?

Also what is the scale?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This one goes for BIG BUCKS on ebay. If you can get it cheap then flip it.

i have one and the metallic paint does flake. I got it off the bay for a 100 because of the flaking.

It is still a great looking bust... and i wouldnt hesitate getting another one. You can always have it chromed if the flaking bothers you... think of it as battle damaged.

i have seen there go as high as 500..... its insane

All chrome pieces have some sort of flaking. It's when the temperture gets hot then cold where the resin isteld expands and shrinks. When that happens, the chrome paint can't handle it and it'll flake. Ideally, it would be good to keep the chromed statues in a controlled enviroment to prevent that.

I used to have Logan from that line and within a year all the finish flaked off the base.

What's with poor paint flaking? That's inexcusable.

Got more pics of the busts in this line?
