Need Help Deciding

vs

I have $50 in Rewards Expiring November 1. Figured I'd treat myself to a statue but not sure which one.

I saw Vader at my LCS and overall I thought he turned out great.

Darth Vader PF:

+ Favorite Character in all Star Wars
+ Love the Grim Reaper Vibes
+ I like the base
+ Light-Ups
+ Pose is good

- Not on sale

General Grievous PF:

+ Like the Cape
+ Pose is good
+ Good Sale on Him
+ More of a Unique Character

- Overall More Expensive

If Vader is your favourite character in all of Star Wars, then I'd go with him (and it is a really nice looking statue too).

I like that Grievous but I'd start with the star of the franchise

i'd personally go with Grievous but if Vader is your favorite character the choice seems pretty obvious.

My strategy:

How long has it been since the last Grevious PF?

Grevious statues may be more scarce to come by especially on sale.
There will always be more Vaders and pretty sure even this Vader will be available long after Grevious is a goner.

Get more points with Grevious and by this time next year get Vader?

The Lord of the Sith.

He has lasted the true test of time and has been voted the scariest of baddies historically for decades now.

plus........

for those of you know how much I love lights......Vader is also an easy pick for me on that front.

Not sure if the Grevious has light up features but if not.....4 missed opportunities. sad.

I never did understand why SS did/does that....some PFs who wield lightsabers are light up and others are not.....never could quite understand the logic behind that inconsistency......

oh well. It's just me.

This is a very valid point. There will always be Vaders, so if you're convinced both characters will be yours eventually, this is not a bad option.
