I don't know if it's because of the delays or not but I have been able to get today the regular version in stock on the website of PCS

I feel that pcs has killed the excitement for their 1/3 line. When it was starting out, po's were selling out within minutes and websites where crashing. These were definitive pieces and it was exciting.

Now less and less people are into it and the "grails" that everyone scrambled to get are coming up available on the website. These can all be had for retail now.

The fire that pcs started has dwindled a bit.

I think some of it is competition, some of it is bad publicity from the refund issues and social-media interactions (e.g., deleting posts and banning people on their FB group), some of it is fatigue (new 1/4 Akuma so soon after 1/3 Akuma), and some of it is the crazy turnaround time from start of preorders to product delivery to collectors.

Hopefully things will improve over time with the new ownership, as the products do still look very good. I do look forward to getting my 1/3 Chun-Li - I'm just jaded enough that I don't expect it even in 2019 necessarily.
