I have four detolfs left after selling my GG collection...and I have some of my pf's in them...they are a good product...and inexpensive compared to others. Not long ago...I bought a besta bookshelf cabinet that is better suited...imo...for pf's. You cannt go wrong with either...

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Yeah, I was wondering how it was working so well. I see now where they've added in additional horizontal bars on the sides to get rid of the dead space. Nice, but not really a good example of what to expect if you pick one of these up at Ikea...

They're used to elevate the Besta cabinets off the floor.

Here I have buffy on a riser to get rid of some dead space above her.
I buy mine at Micheals. They are not true risers, they are just clear plastic boxes that you are supposed to use to put things in them but they work good as risers and there is many different sizes. Plus they have clear plastic lids on them that you can also use as a riser.

Correct. Look carefully and you'll see they have custom welded extra bars to allow more flexibility in regards to movement of the shelves thus minimizing the dead space.

Clear acrylic risers work great in detolfs. They're very affordable (a few bucks each depending on size) and can be found all over eBay individually or in bundle packs. Here is the best pic from my collection I have to illustrate how they can be used with PFs. Eliminates some of the dead space and creates a bit of a floating effect.

I had been hoping Sideshow followed the DCD practice of having exaggerated measurements. Nope! Buffy ended up on the top of a DETOLF and it's getting crowded up there.
I've been using those clear baseball/gaming card cases that they typically sell in comic shops for my risers. They look similar to what you've got.
