I need an air brush too. Also, sometimes I can be very impatient when repairing a figure or sculpture and want to see it finished quickly. I need to curb my excitement a little bit.

If I've learned anything from this hobby, then that it takes a lot of patience and time

I only did the work with the brush. Apply very thinly, let it dry well and apply the next layer very thinly. This takes a few hours but I have more control with the brush.

The earrings on my Kitana had broken off. I got a replacement head where the earrings were "only" bent
My Kitana Reg portrait had the front of hair snapped off in one piece and earrings snapped off. I glued both back on, no paint required.

Thank you very much

Claire is finished
I left out the decals on the yellow band (lettering: Police Line Do not Cross). The decals don't stick well. I have to come up with something else
