I recall the Sharon Stone statue and Marilyn Monroe 1/4 being the same way.

It has been suggested PVC offers finer details to be cast compared to resin, which can be grainy.
As for painting, i cannot answer that question. Some might recall XM Studio's 1/6 portrait (possibly Wonder Woman)
that made use of semi transparent resin similar to what Prime 1 Studio sometimes use on their 1/3 pieces.
The XM paint app did not look good. It almost appeared, in photo's atleast, the factory painters had struggled to
paint onto semi transparent resin.

I am sure there are painters out there than could shed more light on PVC vs Resin and applying paint.

Hot Toys - Taskmaster (from the movie Black Widow)

..is in the house
I shot these two photo's after checking the piece out, to make sure all was well. Fact is, Taskmaster was returned to the box until i find the ideal display location.

In short, an excellent figure!
Given the materials used, Taskmaster appears to be very posable. I think i prefer Taskmaster with the hood in the down position.

When I saw the mother of dragons statue, I thought of Madam Tussauds museum because of its amazing details. Really great collectible object. Also, Taskmaster looks very nice. Congratulations.

Daenerys looks quite exquisite. Quite amazing for 1/4 scale.
Taskmaster is a different type of beast, being a figure, 1/6 scale.

Unlike some collectors, i like both statues and figures.

I collect the same way. My extensive collection brings great difficulties. However, when it is in harmony, it does not matter whether it is a figure or a sculpture, they can all be exhibited very nicely.

Uuu baby, Taskmaster. (: Looks very nice on pics.

I am also into Marvel film figures, but on a smaller scale. I collect the S.h. figuarts 1/12 figures. You don't have to give an arm and a leg for them, you know and i like the quality of them. Taskmaster is on the list. I got Captain America Final Battle Edition (Endgame Film) figure lastly. (on the way) I also like both figures and statues, buddy. There were only figures before statues of Bowen Design and Sideshow, you can't beat the nostelgia flauvered joy of a good action figure brings to you. (:

Congratz to Taskmaster. Is there also an unmasked option on her?

The Joker Bust by Prime 1 Studio (..and Blitzway)
1/3 Scale

Arrived today..

In person, the portrait paint app looks very good. Far less white than some photo's suggest. Eye's also look good, complete with gloss finish.
The green sculpted hair looks excellent! ..I am not 100% sold on real hair aspect, of which there is little. With a little bit of work,
it can be made to look better. With the aid of some scissors, I trimmed some of the stands.

From what I can tell, the bust base looks like the proto, so no complaints here..

The Ledger likeness is questionable. It is one of those portrait's that looks like Ledger when viewed from various angles.
Looking up at the piece (rather than down) works better. Placing the bust high up would make sense when putting it on display.

If you look head on at the bust, the likeness appears to be at it's weakness.
