Castlevania: Lords of Shadow

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
This games is going to be so awesome that i can even content my own excitement. What even makes me more happy to ear is that Kojima did what he his know for “perfection”. Using the blue-ray disc to the max is pure genius, who care what the xbox fanboys think about the double CD...Get a Playstation!

I'm looking forward to this game but it looks too much like God of War. Castlevania used to be one of the best action/adventure games. It should lead not follow. Especially not follow a game like God of War which itself is a lighter version of Devil May Cry. It'll probably sell well because of the names attached and people will hype it as the best Castlevania game. But true Castlevania fans know the best games are still the PC-Engine version of Rondo and Castlevania III. Castlevania Symphony/Nocturne and Super Castlevania 4 while very good are both way too easy.

I really don't care one way or the other on this one. Agreed that it looks too much like a standard action game clone, but maybe it'll turn out better than we expect. Not pumped, but I'll be willing to try it out and see what it's like.

My favorite CV's are Bloodlines, SotN, Super Castlevania IV and Rondo PCE. I played some of III years later on an emulator but didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. Still pretty awesome, but not the tops for me.

I need to play Bloodlines again. Only completed it once. It didn't leave a big impression on me. The music is good. I have the soundtrack on the DraculaX 2 disc import CD. The only reason I didn't run through Symphony the first time was because I was playing the Japanese version and translating the kanji while playing...

i cant wait for this one, and im happy it plays like GoW since thats only games i am into these days.

Dont get me wrong i love the old side scroll Castlevania games, just no money in it with younger generation now a days.

Should be a fun game and so far the story looks amazing.

Of course there is, it just has to be designed well. Like the 2D Mario games. The portable versions don't really count as they are pretty much the same game over and over. There should also be a good 3D version. Which the last two games have missed by miles...

That was an awesome trailer.

Patrick Stewart is by far my favorite voice actor.

The story sounds pretty cliche to me, but at least the voice acting quality will be great.
