"Fisk & Foes Of Hells Kitchen"

I've commissioned another piece of art for my collection. This time it's a little different as I don't have a reference piece photoshopped. I like to incorporate statues that I own or have owned into the artwork, so with that being said I'm using these as the statue reference...

while trying to come up with a more realistic image for Kingpin.

I will be posting the progression pictures as I receive them this time around. I like how it looks so plain in the beginning. Then the coloring phase and how it just comes to life bit by bit. It's the same artist that I commissioned "King Hulk the Warlord" posted in an earlier thread in the Artist Alley.

"Fisk & Foes Of Hell's Kitchen"...30"x22"

I wanted this piece to having the feeling like these were actual living people.

The coloring phase and bringing this piece to life has began...

The artist did a little back tracking from the coloring phase and decided to finish the cathedral background look of this piece. I wanted to ask him to do this before, but never got around to it and I guess he read my mind.

LoL, what would make you say watercolors when looking at post number #5?

Color pencils are the tools for the coloring process.

Ahh couldn't see whether pen, pencil, or brush or an amalgamation.

It looks fantastic.
