Cool Comic Collectibles MARVEL TREASURY EDITIONS
The Marvel Treasury Edition series ran from 1974-1981.
These oversized comics consisted of mostly reprint material.
The appeal of this series was the size. Even though I owned the stories and art in comics, the size of the pages in these treasury issues really made the art "jump" out at you!
Here's my set. The books are too big for the scanner. I did my best!

Issue 2 featuring the Fantastic Four may look familiar. It's the Bowen Fantastic Four FS inspiration.
Issue 12 featured a new story: Howard the Duck tries to join the Defenders
Issue 25 features an all new Hulk/Spider-Man story and a 6 page Hercules story
Issue 26 features an all new 6 page Hercules/Wolverine story
Issue 27 features a new 6 page Angel story
Issue 28 featured the 2nd meeting of Spider-Man and Superman and guest starred Hulk and Wonder Woman.

As a kid, everytime I walked in the drug store and a new one of these was on the shelf, I'd felt as if I had struck gold. None of mine are in good condition, but these were all read over and over. These more than anything got me collecting comics.
DC also put out some super-sized books.

That's a great collection you have there. I picked up a few of these a while back and agree that they are a really cool format...
