B & R - I've read a few non-spoiler reviews from guys in Europe who have already seen the movie at least twice. They said it was great seeing it in both 2D and 3D, but the 3D Imax viewing was amazing. I figure since I haven't even seen a modern 3D film, this might be worthwhile.

"There is only one place to sit in the cinema, with your eyes aligned with the exact centre of the screen both horizontally and vertically. The middle seat two thirds of the way back. This is of particular significance at the IMAX and other very large screens where the wrong seat can result in neck/ back pains and an utterly distorted image."

If the movie had been shot in 3D then this might have been worth seeing in 3D. But this is a 2D to 3D conversion and was a very disappointing experience. Spend your money on candy and a drink.
