I was going to buy this series awhile back, then got freakin' sticker shock!!
Good Luck, I loved the show, but I also love Corvettes, I can't afford either.

The show's gone down in price a lot since it was released, you can easily get it cheaper on Amazon by buying it used, I've never had a problem with anything that I've bought used from them.

Thank's I will look into this, I really liked the series, but as I said, when I saw it advertised in, I believe it was (Preveiw's) Daimond's DVD section I couldn't believe the prices of each set, that was a few year's back.
Will check again!

It is a really nice piece of work - but no f'n way would I pay that much for something Ii had to put together AND paint. now if it was fully assembled and painted I'd already have ordered it before making this post 8')

Star Blazers was one of my favorites when I was kid. I have 2 models of the Argo that I still have not built yet but both are much smaller than the one you listed. I bought a bunch of tiny Star Blazers model ships years ago at SDCC that are sitting in storage somewhere too.

yup, it needs to be fully assembled/painted for me to personally buy it.
