FANTASTIC FOUR #19 painted cover artwork by ALEX ROSS

"There's no calm before this Storm".

Fantastic Four #19 painted cover artwork by Alex Ross. Film Noir style. Size: 12.5 by 18 inches. Alex Ross has been on my radar for years. I'm thrilled to finally be able to add him to the gallery of painted artwork.

This is amazing. Just. Amazing.

What I like most is that if you didn’t know it was related to a comic, it is just an amazing pulp piece. Coloring is enchanting. The mix of all part of The Four being present (Johnny with the flame, Richard with the long block paneling, Ben represented with the “gun/muscle”, Sue being obvious). Genius.

What I want to know is - how and where do you display your beyond amazing collection?! I am in awe. Pure awe.

That is very clever. I wonder if that was the intention or by accident. You may well be right!

Thanks for the kind words as always!

P.S. Sue if wearing a "4" earring. That's the tell.

I didn’t even notice the earring bc it blend so much into her hair.

That may not have been Mr Ross’ intentions, but it is what I immediately thought of
