If SS wants to keep this hobby alive, they’re going to have to re evaluate their pricing strategy. That’s if they make it through this garbage pandemic situation.

This hobby needs to be made accessible. There are outstanding pieces where I can understand a greater price tag. This is my expectation for the maquette lines. This is not it. This is a simple low-cost-to-produce non-complex fabric covered b-list character (sorta) statue which could go from PO to shipping in a couple months. I think SS could have made a lot of collectors happy by pricing this guy aggressively to put a simple character on the shelves of happy buyers during this time.
That's probably why they've implemented that new layaway option

I feel like we’ve seen a slow down. How many SW 1/4 pieces we seen lately? There was a time I felt like there was always something good landing. I haven’t seen a SS box in ages. I’m actually starting to go with customs more now for the lack of good pieces coming out.

Es is way too high for this. Surely this isn’t that popular?

Only if they would consider helping the buyers. No sign of this at all except price hikes so far.

the royal guard is incredibly popular. And many (like me) are itching to buy two.

BUT they gave it a stupid price. If it was priced right they could have made over 2000 of them easy.

I'd be really happy if Sideshow took a few of those pieces and made a Shadow Guard Variant

I agree with this. This is a $350 piece. At that price it would be in everyone’s collection.
