just saw that this thing is $750 - yikes!

seems like an awful lot for such a basic looking statue. i get wanting g1 animation style but do you guys really prefer the statue over something a little more detailed like this custom figure? (by LEK custom toys)

im still on the hunt for a TF statue, i would have ponied up $750 for something like this custom if it was the same size as the statue

Actually, LEK is doing the paint design for PCS.

I'm waiting to see if P1 puts out G1 statues based on the Bumblebee movie. More than likely I'll be getting a couple IA LOC pieces.

Maybe I'd feel different about this line if I saw it in person but it's not doing anything for me.

$750 seems a bit high but so is the Imaganarium Arts Starscream and that's $1200.

I also dont care for any of the 3 portrait & terrible pose. Should have a smiling one, smirk, & regular.

Only consider it because of the unique paint app.

Still unknown how well a factory will do that paint application.

Sonic what do you think about the Imaginarium Art 12" seekers? Price, paint and design seems to be good and you can have all 3 if you want for the price of a SS PF or P1 piece.

I wish I had $2500 for the XM one. I keep looking at those photos of how cool it looks as it should at that price.

So is this the sideshow markup ? Nice piece but seems very basic for $750

I mean more in the sense that you already have statues of those characters.

Personally I don't think it looks basic at all. As for the repainted masterpiece Starscream, while it looks good, i think it breaks the effect it was trying to go for.

If I wanted a more detailed sculpt I'd want a 3D representation of these:

Apart from the metallic finish I think the IA ones are close.

Yeah, that's my concern too. I'm holding out to see how Prime comes out before pre-ordering this.

Jumping in from the sideline, I think they are great and will be getting them.
However they won't stop me from getting PCS' version.

It is pricey (more than I thought it would be) but again I don't think this is basic and I think that's an unfair assessment from people who do.
