Does your spouse/companion support your collection?

Hi!

This was probably asked before but I'd like to know if I'm alone on this or there are people feeling my pain.

I have a moderate collection, 18 pieces in total and unfortunately my wife is not supportive of it, although I try hard to flex pay everything and I'm down to 1 piece every 3 or 4 months. It's hard because the amount of money I spent is so little that it would not help us much financially but the pleasure I get from it is immense and it balances the amount of stress I have.

Is your significant other dislike your collection or is most of you have someone who supports you having a collection?

She doesn't say much about it but I wouldn't say she encourages me. I feel she really thinks it is a waste but does not say anything against it. I often feel a little guilty buying statues tho. They don't really do much except stand there and look fantastic and it is only me that gets the enjoyment. Guilt or not, I buy them anyway.

My collection is only brought up when , there is a dis-agreement. otherwise she is ok with it.! Im sure many would agree with me..

Wife are not just Hysterical but also Historical when it comes to arguments..They tend to bring up our collections when they are on the wrong side...

U work your a$$ off, what is the point if u cant indulge within reason? My wife understands this, she also understands that i save , where people spend money on drinks and other temporary satisfactions, i spend it on something more permanent.

My wife broke the one mini-bust I ever bothered to buy, so she had to go.

She never touched my statues, thankfully.
