Disappointing to see Psylocke [the character before someone gets their knickers in a wad] ruined again
The first one came out 9 years ago during Comic Con
I traveled to SDCC and saw it in person after I hit the preorder button. I didn’t think they’d ever release a Psylocke and the response online was mostly positive except for the random racist “it looks too Asian” comments.
I didn’t expect Rogue and Psylocke to be the most problematic pieces in my collection starting from the beginning. I’ve paid a lot of money to fix the cracking paint and awful production on those original PFs, so any apprehension to the new ones is understandable.
No good reason why the first portrait had to change but whatever.. we are getting the XMen! Then it keeps mutating into whatever.
If they discontinue this line it should be noted that the art direction and production wavered more on this line than any other.
Thank you Sideshow for all the work and time that went into these pieces. I thought we were supporting your efforts, but our feedback has never improved the product itself. The changes are made at the discretion of management.
The storyline of Psylocke is metamorphosis, I don’t think they should’ve changed it at all from picture 3.
Emma’s EX is horrible
I would gladly trade it in for the original headsculpt for Psylocke or even Mystique
Emma’s EX portrait is useless, they could’ve just given us the other Psylocke portrait instead or a second portrait for Mystique.
I’m grateful for what we have seen for the entire XMEN collection, it’s the only line from SSC that interests me so it almost seems like they actively sabotage it for ----s and giggles.
That’s my opinion from someone that actually wanted to see this line continue and thrive. Like Thundercats they’ll probably pull the plug.
