The main reason was the AT&T merger and the budget. Evidently when AT&T saw how much each season would cost they immediately put a stop to the show. I guess $85mil per season was too much for them to swallow.

Sad...definitely the most promising show they have currently at least in my eyes

Thanks for the heads up on this, had a look at a couple of articles online and it looks interesting.
looks a little like "A Scanner Darkly" in design and I enjoyed that...I'm all in for trippy animation gonna have to give it a look
