But without box it would have to go fully insured and I don't like that.

You will like it so much that you will keep it and never sell it(so no prob that there's no box/COA).
Offer him $700 cash and you pick it up. I bet he will do anything to sell it locally(saves him from the trouble of shipping it without the box)

I tried...I offered $800 cash but he wants me to bid on it. Oh well. I will watch it but do not want to spend more than $800 for it.
I will keep after him and let him know it's likely to break if he has to ship it, etc..etc...

I don't guys, I am really tempted to buy this using the BIN...
You folks on here keep raving about this one as opposed to the II, which I actually bought yesterday afternoon- got a great price too. But I would only keep one.
