XM Mystique

I caved and ordered Mystique along with XM Dark Phoenix and XM Storm.... Now I have to figure which statues I have to sell off to make room ... ugh.....

Absolutely great choices! I have DP and Storm on order, and still deciding between Mystiques.

I went back and forth between XM and SS Mystique for several hours trying to decide,

SS Mystique
+ Nice Pose
+ $400 cheaper then XM
+ Cleaner Outfit
- Huge Revolvers which look awkward with her small hands
- Silencers, who puts silencers on revolvers?
- Very simple base
- Portrait is not very feminine

XM Mystique
+ More feminine looking portrait
+ Better base
- Pose is a little awkward with her one leg, can't tell if it's propped against the base or just floating
- Outfit is fine but I'm not crazy about the grey pin stripping.

In the end I went with XM's... The one thing I hope XM will consider doing is painting the stripes on her outfit white instead of grey, it would make the outfit look so much cleaner and more modern.

Hopefully XM will being doing Rogue and show some artwork soon, otherwise a Harbottle SS Rogue will be hard to pass up

Really no need to spend several hours on such an easy matter.

XM is superior in all possible ways, except the price, which I find quite high for a 'simpler" statue. And I agree about the grey piping, it needs to go.

Though I must say that it is actually quite minor. I would keep the grey piping over the ugly manly face any day!

You forgot two other pros for the XM. She comes with both a short haired portrait and a long haired, and the different switch out arms.

That's the thing that makes it a pass for me. I don't love SS's but I don't love XMs either. All things considered I can't bring myself to pay that much more for a piece I'm not totally in love with.

To be fair, he mentioned that as a positive to Sideshow's.
