This made me laugh, as it brought back memories of a small get-together my wife and I went to some years ago. It was at the house of a friend's 90 year-old grandmother. The grandmother asked me what I'd have, to which I replied "bourbon and coke". She chuckled and said "Bourbon and coke! Oh, my girl friends and I used to drink those back in college!"
That's right: punked by a 90 year-old granny. I've never added soda of any kind to a drink since then.
