Where did you see the shipping date quote for cyclops? I dont think they wait that long after "official" PO. Official PO for storm was April I think and she will ship Q1 next year.

Let's call it two years from PO to shipment....that hurts.

I know the move to MTO was meant to encourage buyers to get their orders in early and help the product hold its value over time....but they need to be careful it doesn't get construed as a means to lock in PO deposits for longer and let them queue up more pieces

PCS was doing that queing up statues for pre-orders and then making customers wait 2-3 years to get them... that's a lot of money up front...

XM seems to be going that way with all the statues they have for pre-order yet were looking at years before they come out, they require around $250 NRD so they're getting a lot of money up front also... IMO they shouldn't pre-order a statue unless it's already being made in the factory and ready for release within 8-12 months max..
