You may be right.
Without any official word from Chronicle, we can only assume.

I was very excited to be getting this last month, half a year push back is a long time to wait on a paid in full statue, but I am still excited, just have to wait some more.

I get that stuff happens, especially with small businesses. It really is a miracle that this is even being made.

Ok, so I just visited the site. It has been pushed even further from Q1 to Q2. I'll admit, that makes me a bit sad.

more than a bit sad. the site listing also shows the original ES of 300. surely that's a goof and it hasn't gone back up...??

an official word on the delay would be nice. it went from "we should see this around the end of July" to pushed to Q1 '19, and now again to Q2. based on that estimate, i could pre-order it again today and pay for it in full on the 10-month plan before it hits.

My thoughts exactly. Timeline has changed significantly. Lost interest in this piece now. The money put into this on the 10 month plan could have been used for other pieces. Really should have a deposit only option. So you do not end up paying for something in full then have to wait another 8-10 months.

We ask you to bear with us as we get products completed that were started prior to our Production Director’s arrival at the start of the year. You’ll notice that many products that went on pre-order since his arrival will be delivered much closer to initial shipping time estimates.

100 units. “300” was a typo on our site that we have now fixed.

I was with family last Friday for the holidays, where was he chatting?

Edit: Just realized you are talking about Facebook.
Did he give an updated estimation on ship date?
I don't want to watch that whole stream just for that info, really hard to get info quickly from a past livestream with nothing indexed or time stamped.
It would be helpful if they or someone watching updated the forums. IMO
