I agree with the above and may have to order this thing!! I love the mechanical horse, much more badass than a real horse, lots of detail etc
And he is on a horse because back on those times, feudal Japan, they didn’t have cars, they rode horses!!

From what I understand, the Rising Sun series is not based of feudal Japan. That's why Catwoman is riding a motorcycle. The Rising Sun series is just based on a Japanese theme.

They just need to make a comic book of this already or animation series.

That way we can get a better understanding or relate to the theme...
oh wait - Batman Ninja?

Batman Ninja is different. That one is definitely based in feudal Japan.

...And XM started their Rising Sun line before Batman Ninja was announced.

The whole Japanese Batman idea is lost on me but I will say the statues look incredible and this concept looks badass.

if I can recall correctly, the theme for Rising Sun line is Japan in cyberpunk era. that's why Bane has this big as tank on his back, batman and batgirl's armours are a bit robotic looking, and catwoman sits on a futuristic bike.

I think the horse itself is cool, kinda remind me of old anime Bt'X, but it needs some colour accent to make it pop more. and maybe we cannot see this Batman as the Batman because there's no big bat symbol on his chest. somehow, he needs that.

For me, part of Batman is about his toys and gadgets. A villain sees the mechanical horse and goes, "Wow! Where does he get his wonderful toys?!". Now if Batman rides in on a regular horse, the villain just sees a normal horse. A normal horse that's the same as the other 100 horses at the stable where any other samurai can get them.
