I'd be happy if the base was 1 inch high, a section of flooring, so long as holds the statue up right. For me, it's all about the statue!
What ever Prime 1 do, i hope it's not simply a generic Street Fighter base that all Street Fighter characters will stand on, like what they did and are still doing with the Batman line.

Any news on Street Fighter being 1/4 or 1/3 scale?

1:4 is confirmed. There will be no 1:3.

I'm pretty confident that if it's in 1:4 scale that it won't be anything like the Arkham line.

Think of the Arkham line as Prime 1's entry into the market. It got them attention and acknowledgement from the masses, and they've gotten progressively more creative since (notice how the Arkham line got crazier with Mr. Freeze and XE Batman). Notice how with other lines they've gotten really creative.

It would be bad form to suddenly change the Arkham line to a different style as it would ruin the consistency in the line. That game seems to lend itself well to simple museum poses with extreme details.

Street Fighter needs to be dynamic all around imo, that's the definition of the series.

What I guess we will see is a similar foundation for the base, for example:

The disc base is consistent to the entire line, but the environment is themed around the character.

I think they confirmed 1/4 in the FB group previously.

I hope so. I want statues that tell a story not just wax museum pieces.

I understand you completely and I feel the same way. That's why I love the Berserk line and even stuff like Evangelion, Macross, etc.

They have great art direction across these lines, which is something I desire greatly. I may be speaking too soon, but I can't help but feel that Street Fighter X Prime 1 is a match made in heaven.

A property that's notoriously over the top mixed with a company that exhibits the same trait =

Completely agree! I can't wait to see what jaw dropping-over the top concepts P1 has in mind for this line. I'm sure SF fans will not be disappointed!

You just listed two anime properties that don't have any 3D files to pull from.

Prime 1 will use 3D files where available.

However I wouldn't be concerned. I imagine they will still pose them dynamically and build a theme around them.
