I thought many online retailers actually made a lot of money during the pandemic. As it seems many individuals were going through extreme levels of retail therapy during the period. As I remember the stock prices for a couple of Australian stores go through the roof due to high sales.

I'm sure they did, but if they kept the unlimited rewards policy up... Man, I'd still be rolling in basically free product.

Ah, I remember those days.
I think the highest I scored was maybe around $450 in free rewards in 2022. A bit less at $366 in 2021, and they go progressively lower the further back I look.

actually he is right on the markup of collectibles but its not just sideshow. that is standard and always has been. Gamestop goes a little overboard with their markups sometimes but in general it has always been this way. Collectibles aren't the only things with huge markups. Have to admit though I don't think anyone has the marketing budget on them that sideshow does. In the end I don't think Sideshow is doing anything everyone else doesn't do as far as the markups go.
