Impressive paint work.
Did you also repaint the dragon figure on the table?
I did, many years ago. That's an old Mcfarlane Dragon, one of the oversized ones.

Phase one of the shield done. I'll seal it tomorrow, let it cure for a couple days, mask if off and do the blue circle, then mask that off and do the white star.

I was moving stuff for drywall repair later this week and forgot all about this guy. One of the first things I did when I started teaching myself the hobby was repaint this old Bowen Smackdown Hulk. Always hated the pinkish pants and two tone paint apps. So there's like five colors that make up his skin tones. And now he has a proper torn white t-shirt. I do believe I also violated Hulk protocol by giving him pink gums...but hey, I'm in training. And I have a thing for dental hygiene.

Cap is moving along slowly, the high winds outside are cramping my style and I can't seal my work. But the blue is done on the cowl now, gotta do touch-ups, apply the eye decals, and then finish it up. Soon I'll seal the blue circle on the shield and do the white star.

cap is looking amazing, just like he leaped off a ross painting

that hulk repaint looks really sharp, i also painted the gums on my pf pink/red when i repainted it. i couldnt find any solid reference that swayed me in another direction - are they supposed to be purple or something? i thought that looked weird on the statue so went pink

Thanks guys!

I thought the typical thing to do was paint the gums a shade of green, so that's exactly what I didn't want to do. Same with the hair...left it black with some subtle highlights instead of the typical green shading.

Purple gums....I instantly think of some kid who chewed on a pen flashing a big S-E grin...LOL

Finished the A on the alternate head and popped the wings on just to see how it looks:

Looking up head:

I'll seal up today's work, do any little touch ups needed, do some shadowing on the seams of the mask with black pastels, decal the eyes, do the center star on the shield and wrap it up. None of which will happen soon as I need to tear down the man cave for drywall work.

Time to clear out the man cave, but here's a quick shot of the two AR statues by Arkham Studios:

Thanks man! Cap isn't quite done, I still have some work to do on the heads and the shield star. But I'm offline for the next several days due to basement work and who knows what's going to happen...I better document their existence while I can.
My workshop is in a total state of disrepair.

Here's a quick shot of Cap while I can still access him in a sea of chaos in my workshop...
