Captain America is 99% done. The only thing left to finish is the looking down head (eye decals) and the switch out hand holding Thor's hammer, both in progress. He turned out pretty good and I'm starting to develop a level of consistency I can count on...by now I know my projects won't be terrible and they won't be spectacular, but they will be pretty darn solid. I can live with that.

As always, thanks for looking and for your feedback, it's always appreciated!

Self-criticism is okay and, yeah, there is always something that can be done better.
But I think your work is really great.

I would be happy to be on this level

Now that Cap is finished, it's time to get the next project up on the workbench...1/4 scale Wolverine in his brown suit. Sculpted and produced by Underworld Sculptures, this is a true garage kit that needs proper fitting, pinning and magnets. It features two head sculpts and two sets of hands with either metal or bone blades. Here goes nothing!

Thanks SONIC! I got this kit late spring from his eBay store on sale for a great price, $285 + shipping from England. You just can't pass up a great 1/4 scale piece at that price. I think I'm going to take a slightly different approach on this one, I'd like to add more drama to the piece. With the two Alex Ross statues I went with a minimalist style due to the nature of the subjects. This really requires a more aggressive style with more pronounced shadows, exaggerated highlights, bolder facial details...I have an idea in my mind what I want to do...the question is, can I execute the plan? LOL Damn good question.
