Night Hunter - 7/10 - Henry Cavill, Ben Kingsley and a Serial Killer Mystery. It's not the smartest film of I've ever seen in the sub-genre but it's entertaining, more so than the critics found it to be.

Marriage Story - 9/10

Driver and Johansson deliver performances that really stuck with me. This shows you go both go big and have a lot of quiet acting and be equally impactful. I know not for everyone as a more simple human story, but the dialog and delivery all around is seeing joy for quality acting.

1917 (2019) - Two young British soldiers during the First World War are given an impossible mission: deliver a message deep in enemy territory that will stop 1,600 men, and one of the soldiers' brothers, from walking straight into a deadly trap.

It deserves every award nomination it gets. Perhaps its most incredible achievement was condensing an overnight journey into what looks like a single two-hour continuous shot. 10/10

Terminator Dark Fate - 6/10

It's not a horrible movie but all they really did was take the same story elements from the original Terminator and Terminator 2 and basically rebooted it with female protagonists.

How many times are they going to send Terminators back in time... They need to come up with something original for this franchise...

Harriet (2019) - The extraordinary tale of Harriet Tubman's escape from slavery and transformation into one of America's greatest heroes, whose courage, ingenuity, and tenacity freed hundreds of slaves and changed the course of history.

This is another good-looking, serviceable Hollywood biopic that appears during awards season. 7/10

I'm glad the lead was nominated for Best Actress. That's a film that easily could have been forgotten. We saw that movie as a family and enjoyed it quite a bit.

Wrath of Kahn and The Search for Spock make for a great double feature.
