Upon cursory review I'm not blown away.

The review gives it 5 stars and they say it is very well painted, can't see the pictures very well as they're so small but it sounds very impressive to me.

I saw those pics on that board. There was a ton of light in the photos taken of it which made it difficult to judge whether or not the paint app was closer to the film version. It seemed like a lighter shade of blue to me.

I'm still thankful for those in-hand pics, however, seeing as there are practically none being posted at all. I'm thinking of picking this one up too. I actually like the Patriot armor paint scheme from the movie and the pose Gentle Giant went with.

I also like the way GG showcases an empty film reel underneath the clear acrylic bases during their Cons. Gonna have to try that with my GG pick-ups.

No worries, shin. I just placed an order for this. Amazon had a great deal on it with free shipping. I couldn't pass it up. A 19.25" GG piece for that much sounded too good. It looks extremely classy, and from what I've read what I could on it so far, owners are saying the paint app on it is very, very good.

It won't come in 'til next Friday the 13th. So hopefully no bad luck on that day and it arrives in perfect condition. And of course, I'll take my pics of it and post them here for anyone who hasn't really seen decent photos yet.

I also plan to buy a great looking empty 35mm film reel off eBay to place it under the acrylic base the way GG does. I don't wanna buy one right this minute until I inspect the statue, and measure the diameter of the base. If I had to guess, though, I'd say it looks to be about 13". Pics are coming for you and everyone else. Very anxious.

None the less, they are there and they are all we have so far. Was it delayed or did nobody buy this?
