I agree and said it before, I don't see the EX reaching 5K. Guaranteed when someone makes and sell a custom smiley Thanos head for $200 people will buy the regular instead.

Yeah those would be the sensible people. The anal ones such as myself would want the true exclusive with that lower edition number on the base to keep it legit. I don't know what makes me feel that way. Lol

The total edition size is too high for that kind of price appreciation, and the total matters because the regulars will affect the ceiling on the exclusives. One the price spread is too wide, people will just buy regulars, because ultimately it's just one head, and no one is gonna pay a $1000 premium for a head when the regular is readily available. The "exclusive" cachet has its limits.

In the short term, lots of people are gonna be trying to flip this, which will dampen enthusiasm. It will be hard to pay big bucks when there are a dozen on ebay at all times, which I guarantee will be the case for the first several months after release.

I would suggest people buy this thing primarily because they want it, not as an investment. The Doom PF days are over.
Yup

Base doesn't even say exclusive anymore. That's how lazy & cheap sideshow has gone. It wouldn't be too hard to change number and put an exclusive sticker on the box.

If you need statues to go up in value to keep yourself out of the poorhouse, you shouldn't be buying statues.

I saw just a couple pics, but kind of surprised not one video has surfaced of this guy from the Disney Expo. I guess we'll have to wait a few more days...

I wasn't even aware of the Disney show until it was already happening or I would've gone. Heck, I'm only 30 minutes from the venue.

Mr Mint, your SF card has been revoked. Please leave your badge and statue at the door. Thank you
