$550 is a tad too high for a Dennis Quad Solo.

I know the Disney + SW license must cost a decent penny, but come the f*ck on, Sideshow. $550 is ridiculous.

Chewie -- $348.99
Boba Fett (original PF) -- $439.99
Darth Vader -- $499.99
Boba Fett (new PF) -- $549.99

These price increases are insane.

Just curious but where did this "Disney and Star Wars license must cost a fortune" line of thinking come from? I see Disney pimping anything and everything Star Wars to whatever company wants to throw them peanuts. There's Star Wars water, Star Wars fruits, Star Wars "insert here" of whatever you want.

Bottom line is that they just probably want to charge more and that's why we are having these huge insane price increases.

But yeah, like Demona posted, the last three of Chewie, Boba and Vader are a bargain at their prices. And that was only within the last year or so.

Details packed into every inch. Multiple parts for assembly. Extra-large character. $550 sounds about right, naysayers. You guys just don't understand.

How can this simple statue cost more than Vader? Maybe for his popularity? The face does look like Dennis now that you all spoiled it for me.

Do we know that Disney has impacted SW prices? Kind of seems that all pieces have jumped. I don't think licensing is a factor. Am I wrong? I haven't really seen SW toys go up in price.

Only thing I remember hearing was that sand trooper was priced so low because it was the last figure out under the old contract. Whether it was the contract with Disney or the manufacturers we won't know.

I think we can tell by looking at other manufacturers. For example, Gentle Giant mini busts have gone up at least 25% since Disney bought the property. I don't think it's a coincidence that we're seeing the same thing with Sideshow. And unfortunately for me, it's priced me out of the PF market.
