I think 3A or now 3 Zero Transformer pieces are great. I got their original Bumblebee and I was extremely happy with him. I personally didn’t have any issues with the posing and I didn’t really care all that much anyway, as I intended to place him beside the P1 DOTM Optimus because of the better scaling. And I’ve also got like 70 odd Hot Toys figures and the bulk of them are far less articulate than the 3A Transformer pieces, for obvious reasons.
I’ll be getting quite a few of the new Bumblebee line of Deluxe and whatever Premium pieces they put out. The smaller Deluxe pieces are surprisingly good, but the larger Premium pieces would suit my collection better.
And recently I haven’t noticed much negative reaction to their releases. The only thing I don’t like about them, is their cheap looking bases on the Deluxe line. They’re almost like Gundam/Macross model action bases. But I’m fine displaying them without their bases, as they’re very stable.
