Great to see a simple straightforward Riddick movie again.

I'm in the camp of liking the 2nd film better than the 1st. It has an almost Asimovian (madey-uppy word) sci-fi vibe in terms of scope. I really liked the different cultures (New Mecca, the Aerons (the air elementals) & the Necromongers, who are like an evil Federation). Riddick smartly weaving his way between these cultures with the added prison planet backstory made this a fun & cool movie for me. I read that the writer sees the Riddick story as a 5-parter, w/ the last movie centered on Riddick's home planet of Furya. - http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/285...-riddick-films

Claire Forlani in Meet Joe Black is absolutely beautiful. What else has she been in?

Riddick 6.75/10; only saw the second one once, but loved the first. I enjoyed certain aspects of this one, though. Cole Hauser was missed (big fan, here).

Unintentionally.... haha... carrying on the Oblivion strokefest, but the OST to the movie's pretty damn good.
