Also, I would say that the novels were ahead of their time in their embracing and very vivid depiction of sexual fluidity.
As a side note, Blood and Gold was one of my favorite books from the Chronicles. I really liked Marius.

It is not the trailer, it is the two figures in gentleman cloths who walk side by side in the picture on the internet site. One of them is black, i don't think anything is wrong with that... But that's probably Black Lestat or Black Louis. xD
Yeah, nothing is wrong with that but i mean... This is what i meant by PC times that it is considered necessary to change the character's race or gender, if it is considered there is not enough representation. That is probably black Lestat btw... xD HA HA
I wasn't salty, just glad that a novel or story could be adapted to the medioum of cinema without any race or gender changes so we could have both Louis and Lestat as white vampires, just like in the novel, back then. I also don't think Anne Race novels were ahead of their time. If anything they were full of cliches. How primitive it is that there is not even a single gay sex in the novel so the gayness in two male vampires who live together becomes a undertone... I mean come on... Those novels were bad and i liked them because i was just a clueless highschool Goth spirited kid...
