Bcs diagonal (pythagoras) of 59 and 65 is 87.7cm and that is far off/from the 72cm in this announcement.

Otherwise statue should only be around 46.5 by 55cm to get 72 diagonal which is small.

It is a mess. Same with their Batman zero bike

Also personally really liked the blue in the alien, now you have chance factory skip or uses to little blue 'hue'. To much black you loose the details.

Edit: sorry trapezoid is not possible with only 1cm diff in diagonal. base only has some recess at the front.
Anyway their 'real update' to the whole statue doesn't change much imo (hope the blue hue stays). I liked the original large acid splat (the new one looks bit small but ok).

I wouldn't be surprised if they had different standards when measuring the diagonals versus the straights. The base isn't a perfect rectangle, so maybe they interpreted the protrusions differently depending on which way they were measuring.

I think this is like a trapezoid, except the front side won't be parallel to the back since the corners stick out by different amounts. Just a strange base.

Imo better overall (movie)vibe. Think I will order this statue instead of the new City Hunter.
