Finally got to Spider-Man: No Way Home. Very good movie although a bit sad. I do think Holland is the best Spider-Man so far. 8/10

MEN 6/10.
This looks like a bad score. I didn't dislike the movie it's just that the ambiguous story telling style is starting to get a little tired. The scenes looked great, he really knows how to put a movie together visually.

Downton Abbey: A New Era (2022) - Follow-up to the 2019 feature film in which the Crawley family and Downton staff received a royal visit from the King and Queen of Great Britain.

Complete fluff. This was a total catering to the fans. And as a fan of the TV show, I have no problem with that. 8/10

Top Gun: Maverick - 10/10. Perfect Summer blockbuster. You know beforehand if this movie is for you - if you’re indifferent to Cruise and the first film, this one won’t change your mind. But, this one was made for the big screen. Cruise, good story with a mission impossible, coupled with insane flying maneuvers equals a great 2 hours in the theater.

Cruise just might be my all-time favorite actor (although Ford and Denzel are right there). Just looked up his IMDB, he’s been in 46 films, and I’ve seen 42 of them. Some clunkers, but the vast majority are good to excellent.

Say what you want about cruise, he knows how to pick a movie to star in for the most part.

I don't get all the Scientology crap, but the man is a bona fide old-school movie star. Not many of those around anymore.

I looked on IMDB at all of his movies and realized other than the new Top Gun I have seen all but 2 of his movies. That says a lot.

Yeah, he definitely knows how to choose films to work on. And then he knows to put his best effort in making the film the best movie possible. And he's a great actor to boot.

No way am I missing this Top Gun movie in theaters. Gotta see it on the big screen.
